Each bar runs from the lowest advertised minimum to the highest advertised maximum for that level in this sample. It is not one employer’s range, an average salary, or a prediction of your offer. GS markers show the ceilings GS is prepared to offer; they are separate from the market sample.

The reviewed Level 4 listings have a particularly wide spread. Employer level labels, duties, access requirements, and compensation practices differ. Compare a specific role’s requirements before treating two salaries as equivalent.

How we reviewed the salary data

This is a directional review of advertised salaries, with 2 Level 1, 4 Level 2, 3 Level 3, 3 Level 4 postings in the level comparison. It is a small, non-random sample and does not establish a Maryland market average, percentile, or an industry-wide highest-paying employer.

  • Scope: Target Digital Network Analyst postings with Maryland locations and stated salary figures. We searched across employer career sites and their recruiting platforms.
  • Selection: 25 distinct postings reviewed; 15 retained. Duplicate reposts were not counted as additional openings. GS was excluded from the market sample.
  • Comparable units: We used annual salary figures. Hourly pre-benefit wages and explicitly stated total-compensation packages were excluded. Bonuses, overtime, and benefits were not added to the salary figures.
  • Level grouping: Explicit TDNA levels in the title or job description determine the groups. Combined-level and unspecified-level records were kept out of the chart.
  • Exclusions: 10 records were excluded for reasons including expired or removed listings, non-Maryland or combined-location ranges, inconsistent figures, unverified third-party records, or incompatible pay units.
  • Review date: October 3, 2026. Fourteen retained records were checked through employer or recruiting-platform pages. One uses indexed employer-page text because direct access was blocked. Posting availability and figures can change.

Public results are anonymized; the review log retains source records and selection decisions. “Top of our reviewed ranges” compares GS’s available ceilings with the highest included advertised ceilings for the same level. It does not compare accepted offers, take-home pay, or total compensation.
